It is a great start for students during Islamic education classes and they show great progress in understanding the benefits of justice in Islam.
It is the most prominent and important event yesterday and it is a real simulation of the rituals of Hajj. We are really proud of our students' interaction with that event through their questions and their effective responses to all kinds of questions asked and their interaction with the rituals of Hajj , I was so pleased that our students and teachers were able to spread Islamic values throughout all our classes in the school.
It was an Islamic competition of the Holy Quran for the classes from year1 to year 12 for both Arabs and Non-Arabs on 30th January 2020.This Competition brings out the best in Winchester’s students, as we felt so happy to see our students are able to recite Quran with Tajweed and correct Telawah (recitation of the Quran). Sheikh/Ashraf Tony Abdul-Aziz, Imam of Nakheel mosque in Dubai, judged the competition, we can say that the students had shown enthusiasm and the spirit of the competitiveness was dominant throughout the competition.
